I finally received my MAC Cosmetics “Heaux” Lipstick from the collaboration between Rihanna and MAC. Heaux is a retro-matte berry red, which makes it very sophisticated and sexy. I have come to love the MAC retro-matte finish so much. Not only am I obsessed with matte lipstick, but the formula stays on your lips for a long time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Heaux is a retro-matte finish. I first used this new finish when I tried “RiRi Woo.” It can be drying because it’s matte, but as long as your lips are exfoliated and ready-to-go, this lipstick will not only look amazing on your lips, but it will last and last. Matte lipstick is really chic and sophisticated to me. It has a retro feel and look to it, and the berry color is especially pretty.

 

 

 

 

I used a lip-liner with this, but it did feather/bleed just a bit from my lips. Other than that, I absolutely adore this lipstick. The finish is beautiful, the berry color is classic, and it’s perfect for wearing all summer long and into the fall season.

 

 

 

 

For this look, I did a very classic retro eye makeup look. Winged eyeliner, flesh colored liner on my water-line, and matte eyeshadow on my eyelid make this look.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’m very pleased with MAC “Heaux.” It’s a really classic, grown-up, sophisticated berry lip color that is perfect for all seasons.
