Happy May! I couldn’t have chosen a better shade representation for a summer collection than Zoya did for their Beach Collection. I love that their shades are all bright and colorful, and that they represent the colors of the rainbow. I’ve been storing these on top of my desk where I work because it looks so pretty in the packaging. I may put them back there after this article just because the colors are so cheerful and happy! As I was swatching these, I was blown away by the formula, which was pure perfection. Each shade was super opaque and creamy, the perfect consistency…not too thick or too thin. If you’re unfamiliar with Zoya Nail Polish, I highly recommend them. They are known for being the “safer, healthier” nail polish, especially for pregnant women. Their nail polish is free of toluene, formaldehyde, and dibutyl phthalate. And while that may sound like a big mouthful of jibberish, just know that these polishes are “big three free,” meaning they are much safer than other nail polishes that do use those poisonous chemicals. Zoya also has an extensive shade range, and it is very impressive. If you’re looking for a specific color or finish, you’ll definitely find it via their website, which beautifully separates by shade, collection, and finish. Lastly, I have always adored the formula on my Zoya nail polishes, as they’ve been very consistent across the board.
Now onto the fun part…SWATCHES! Excuse my somewhat dry cuticles in some of these swatches, by the way. I have a ton of nail polish to swatch for you right now, and my nails have taken quite a beating from it!
Overall: This collection is gorgeous. You won’t find overly unique or over-the-top gimmicks in this collection, just simple, gorgeous, bright shades for the spring and summer that apply beautifully. This is definitely a keeper!
