Do you ever get “beauty product intuition?” We were out food shopping, and I hadn’t spotted this collection anywhere, and on a whim I asked my husband to stop at the Walgreens we pass on the way back home. As soon as we stepped inside, there was the huge, glorious display right in front of me. I have to confess that this Wet n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection is absolutely gorgeous from top to bottom. I wanted to grab one of everything, but I know that a lot of the drugstores put Wet n Wild on “buy one, get one 50% off,” so I wanted to wait before getting everything. Inside I’ve got full swatches of the two palettes, Desert Festival and Dutchess Lounge.
Dutchess Lounge contains five eyeshadow shades in assorted darkened purples and grey. This is a stereotypical “Fergie” palette, as she tends to wear a lot of smokey eyes and purple shades on her lids. I was drawn to it because I love a good smokey eye, and my favorite color is purple. I think the packaging is nice because it’s different, and they are definitely a little easier to travel with than the six-pan palettes.
I was nervous whether the pigmentation and payoff would still be there, but it was typical Wet n Wild! The pigmentation is wonderfully opaque and rich, and once again, these eyeshadow shades are great quality and value.
Desert Festival is a palette of warm-based orange-copper’s and browns. I love to wear orange/copper in my crease because it really brings out my eye color, and I liked the overall warmth this palette has.
Once again, the eyeshadow was really soft and plush, and had wonderful pigmentation. I purchased 2 out of the 4 available palettes in this collection, and I think I’ll be going back to pick up the other two!
And, if you’ve never seen the display in your area yet, I took a picture of it so you can spot it. I purchased four lipsticks out of the collection which I’ll be swatching next. They are absolutely stunning and I wanted every single one. I also spotted a brand new mascara, eyeshadow primer, and eyeliner.

I hope that this collection will be available here in Vasa where I live 😀 I LOVE the look of that Desert Festival palette 🙂

I’ve spotted that particular display at Walgreens and the other one with their new foundations at ShopKo and Fred Meyer (Pacific NW).
Do you think Dutchess Lounge is similar to the palette that came out a few months ago in that “book”? (Can’t recall the name of it off hand.)

Hi Zadidoll! Do you mean the “Fergie Fresh” kit? I actually have swatches of it here: http://www.beautygala.com/brands/wet-n-wild-fergie-ferg-fresh-eye-kit-photographs-swatches-review-look/ I’m not sure if that is the one you mean or not.
