Super quickie post! I received a sample with my Sephora order recently that had little scoops of four of the new Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks. Since I’m a massive fan of these new lipsticks, I figured I’d go ahead and swatch them for you here. I’ve already reviewed Venom here and Shame here. As a side note, I wish that more companies would give out small multi-color samples like these when it comes to lip colors. As soon as I saw it available as a regular sample with my order, I knew I needed it. These are so pigmented that each sample has quite a few applications worth of each, even though the samples of each color are less than the size of a pencil eraser.
F-Bomb is a bright, fire-engine red. Super luscious and bright.
Obsessed is your baby-doll pastel pink of the collection. The glossiness keeps it youthful and flattering. This is the perfect shade to combine with a seriously dramatic smoky eye.
Naked is a neutral beige-pink shade. I didn’t think I was going to like this one as much as I do, but it’s really flattering and goes with a variety of makeup looks, including really colorful eyeshadow. The neutral tones make it very flattering.
Anarchy is my favorite of the four samples, and definitely one that I need to purchase the full-size of. I’ve had my eye on this one in the store a few times now and it’s definitely on my wish list. It’s a hot fuchsia-pink that is cool-toned and blue-based. It is STUNNING.
There are twenty-two shades in the Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick Collection, with two of them being UrbanDecay.com exclusives. The others can be found at Ulta and Sephora stores nationwide. Each lipstick retails for $22.00 USD. Again, here are my swatches of Venom and Shame. I purchased the full size versions of those and I wear them often because they are pigmented and beautiful. I thinkĀ Anarchy is next on my list!
