One of the things I love the most about the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette is that you can dress it up or down. You can wear the simplest of shimmering eyes for the daytime or darken it up and make it dramatic for an event. Today, I decided to highlight the beautiful rose gold shades in the palette and create a daytime appropriate look using the palette. This is something that I would wear during the day because it’s shimmering, light, and yet there is still definition added to the eye.
Above is the Naked 3 Palette and I marked the shades that I used to achieve this look. I used “Buzz” and “Trick” on my eyelid, blending the two together for serious rose gold shimmer. Then, I applied “Nooner” to the socket of my eye, blending upward. “Nooner” is a gorgeous matte socket shade. I applied “Buzz” all along my lower lash-line for extra shimmer and added “Strange” to my brow-bone for a matte highlight. Since it’s a daytime look, I used a flesh-toned eyeliner on my lower water-line to open up the eye, and only applied the smallest amount of black liner to my upper lash-line…just enough to bulk up the lashes and make them look thicker.
The result is rose gold shimmer that will light up your entire face. I love the rose gold tones in the Naked 3 Palette. They’re very flattering and perfect for daytime wear.
