Maybelline has released a collection of eyeshadow palettes called EyeStudio ColorPlush. Each palette consists of four velvet soft, pigmented eyeshadows. I was pleasantly surprised how pigmented these eye-shadows were for the price. I was expecting them to not apply well, but they were super soft, super pigmented, and applied flawlessly. Maybelline currently has twelve EyeStudio ColorPlush palettes on the market, each with a different combination of four colors which can be mixed and matched as desired. The look I chose to do with my palette is playful, fun, and bold for spring and summer. Intense, bold eyeshadow and liner underneath the eye has been a huge trend all over the runways this spring, and the turquoise used from this palette is beyond gorgeous. It definitely ranks up there as one of my favorite turquoise eye-shadows ever. To see more photographs, and how to achieve this look,

.) Sweep the lightest color over the entire eyelid, up to the brow bone. This will give you a sheer wash of color and shine, and acts as a great base for your color.

.) Apply the second color in the palette over your eyelids. Be sure to stop at the crease, and really focus on the center of your eyelid, so the golden bronze will pop.

.) Apply the darkest shade lightly into the crease and outer corner of your eye. This will help to add definition to your eye. Smoke out lightly with a fluffy blending brush.

.) Apply the shimmering gold turquoise eyeshadow to your lower lash line. I used the eyeshadow brush this set came with, as the brush tips are shaped well, and work fantastic for applying to the lower lash line. This is what is going to make your eye really pop, and we want it to stand out, so don’t be shy!
