One of my oldest, most classic eyeshadow palettes is the Covergirl Eye Enhancers palette in “Shimmering Sands.” Obviously, I have gone through many different palettes throughout the years, but it was one of the first eyeshadows I ever got to buy and use. To this day, it remains my favorite Covergirl eyeshadow, and provides three basic, natural colors for you to do your eyes with. To see more photographs of this look, as well as how to achieve it,
- First, apply the lightest shade on the inner corners of your eyes. This beige has a shimmer to it, and will open up your pretty peepers.
- Second, apply the middle shade, which is a medium brown, to the eyelid. Apply just to the crease and stop.
- Third, apply the darkest brown shade to your entire crease with a brush in a windshield wiper motion, and blend well. I also applied this shade lightly to the outer third of my eye for definition.
- Fourth, apply the lightest shade lightly directly below your eyebrow. Use a fluffy blending brush to blend down lightly with your crease color.
For my cheeks, I used MAC Cosmetics To The Beach Powder Blush in Hipness, and for my lips I applied MAC Cosmetics “A Rose Romance” lipstick. These shades help keep the look soft and romantic, while also making it glow.
