I am always searching for that perfect pink lipstick. You know, the one that isn’t too light it looks almost nude or beige, or too bright that it can only be worn with certain eye makeup. I have finally found one that fits my needs perfectly, and falls right in between my two necessary shade desires. Persian Melon by Revlon Moon Drops Creme Lipstick is the most gorgeous Barbie-doll pink. It manages to be just pink enough to actually show up on your lips and give you that wash of doll-like color, but it also doesn’t look too bright or crazy that you need to tone down the rest of your makeup in order to pull it off. The shade itself is a color I long for…a pink that actually has good pigmentation to it, and won’t end up looking like a beige-nude pink on my lips, and yet a pink that doesn’t turn out “Nicki Minaj pink” (though certainly beautiful, it is not as wearable).
Oh, how I adore this color! Persian Melon will look great on everyone, light complexions and dark complexions, and it will especially look great with different hair colors. I can see a blonde wearing this to look very flirty and playful, almost Barbie-esque, and a brunette wearing this to add a sophisticated glow to her smile and eyes.
