We’ve officially turned the clocks forward here, and spring has almost sprung. This means that bright eye makeup is coming back into trend, and with the days getting longer and the sun shining brighter, who doesn’t feel like wearing some happier shades? I put together a collage of four eyeshadow looks for you that are super bright and colorful. I have tutorials for each of these eye looks, as well as the products I used, which can all be found at Target in the beauty department. Peek inside if you love color!
Look #1: Ocean Blue Eyes. If you are brown-eyed, this look is especially gorgeous for you. This is a sparkling, gorgeous gradient of bright blue shades, from a Caribbean aqua to a darker navy blue. The effect reminds me of the ocean in a tropical place, where the sea creates gradients of aqua and navy blue. A lot of people are scared of blue eyeshadow, but it is still very trendy and can look perfect when paired with neutral cheeks and lips. For this look, I used the Maybelline “Blue Blowout” Palette. You can find the full tutorial here on Beauty Gala.
Look #2: Fairy Dust Green Eye Makeup. This look reminds me of all things ethereal. It reminds me of fairies in the woods and the Emerald City in The Wizard of Oz. This look is bright, but it still has a softness to it that makes it wearable. This is also a fantastic look to try for St. Patrick’s Day coming up, as well. If you’re going to any themed parties or parades, this would be the perfect green makeup look to get you in the Irish mood. I used Maybelline’s “Forest Fury” Palette for this look, and the full tutorial can be found here on Beauty Gala.
Look #3: Purple Passion Eye Makeup. Purple is my favorite color of all-time, and this is one of my all-time favorite looks that I’ve ever done here on Beauty Gala. The shades of bright purple blend seamlessly together and the hint of sparkle over top of the eyelid keeps the look fun. If you’re a green-eyed babe, this look is for you! Purple makes green eyes pop and really brings out their color. I used the Maybelline “Amethyst Ablazed” Palette for this look and the full tutorial can be found here on Beauty Gala.
Look #4: Soft Sherbet Eye Makeup. This is a recent look I just did using the L’oreal Palette in “Neon Skirt.” The colors are wonderfully bright and happy, and they go together in a way that reminds me of sherbet ice cream! This look has “pops” of color to it, so it’s a little less dramatic than the looks above. This would be the perfect look to wear with neutral colored clothes such as black, white, or beige. You can find the full tutorial for this eye look here on Beauty Gala.
Every single one of these bright eyeshadow palettes is available for purchase at Target stores nationwide in the beauty section.
