Simple Skincare has really lovely, clean looking packaging. The product packaging itself is a really great representation of the fact that they are a natural, health-conscious brand.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer SPF15 contains vitamin B5, and vitamin E, both of which are fantastic for your skin. There are absolutely no artificial perfumes or dyes in this product whatsoever. There are also no animal derived ingredients within this product. The moisturizer itself is oil-free which is a HUGE positive for me, because oil-based moisturizers can sometimes break me out and leave my skin a wreck. Since it gets so warm here in the southeast, I really need oil-free products for my oily skin, or else within a couple of hours my face will be one big oil-slick.

 

 

The moisturizer itself is incredibly lightweight feeling. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how it was creamy but it also felt airy and light once it was blended out. This moisturizer left my skin with a luminous look to it, as well. It was almost as if my skin “glowed” after applying this moisturizer. I love that this has an SPF15 in it, because a moisturizer with SPF in it is a must for me. I’m a bit fanatical about protecting my skin from any sun damage and possible skin cancer.

 

 

 

One of the greatest things you can do for your skin before applying makeup is to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! Any type of foundation will end up looking bad if your skin is dry and not properly moisturized. This moisturizer made an incredible base for my foundation. Above, you can see my skin with absolutely no makeup on it on the left-hand side of the image. After my moisturizer was blended out and it had time to sink in, blending out my foundation was a cinch and my skin looked even more smooth and even than it did before. Being that this product feels so lightweight on the skin, it’s the perfect cream to apply before you do your foundation!

 

 

Overall: I’ve found my new favorite moisturizer for the spring and summer! I already use Simple Skincare, including their face cleanser and eye makeup remover, so this will make a lovely addition to my Simple skincare routine. The SPF15 helps protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays, and the formula is lightweight, oil-free, and made for sensitive skin.
