I was not planning on doing a post on these two lipsticks but holy gorgeousness, when I got them, I knew I had to. These two lipsticks are from the limited edition Sephora “Escape To Rio” Rouge Cream Lipstick Collection. I briefly saw this in my local Sephora store and I decided to purchase them online instead. I bought Samba and Flamingo and I definitely don’t regret my purchase. Both of these lip shades are super bright, pigmented, and beautiful!
These lipsticks are a high coverage satin-finish, and they are super bright. I have to say that I love the packaging on these, and Sephora really did a great job on the shades.
Samba is a fiery coral shade. No words for this one except that it is STUNNING in person. It’s so flattering on anyone and everyone. I was really impressed by how creamy and pigmented these were. One swipe of this lipstick puts down more than enough color.
Flamingo is your hot fuchsia pink shade of the bunch. Another stunningly bright shade that is perfect for the spring and summer. Super creamy, super rich in color, and very flattering on a wide variety of skin tones.
You can see just how pigmented these are in the swatch above. Samba (top) and Flamingo (bottom) are just both incredibly pigmented lipsticks that show up really true to color and almost neon.
Overall, I am very impressed with this collection. Sephora has some great products in their stores, so definitely give them a chance, as they tend to be inexpensive. Each one of these lipsticks cost me $12.50 USD, which I consider to be a beauty bargain because many drugstore lipsticks and lip products are now around the same price.
The Sephora Collection “Escape To Rio” Rouge Cream Lipstick is limited edition and available at Sephora stores nationwide, as well as online at Sephora’s website. Each lipstick retails for $12.50 USD. These are limited edition and becoming quite popular, so if you want them, be sure to scoop them up ASAP!
