There are drugstore products that are great, and then there are drugstore products that are legendary. What you are witnessing in this post is one of the items I consider to be a legendary drugstore beauty item. Revlon’s Colorburst Lipgloss in “Adorned” is flawless in terms of opacity, formula, texture, and wear. It’s as close as you’re going to get to an extremely high-end, luxury brand lip-gloss without the steep price tag. This particular shade is from their “Evening Opulence” Collection, so it is a Fall 2013 shade. If you’re interested in it, I would be sure to grab it up as soon as possible before you can’t purchase it anymore. I’ve got full swatches, and a makeup look wearing Adorned. Warning: this lip-gloss is too gorgeous for proper words.
I’ve owned several of the Revlon Colorburst Lipglosses, and I think they are all quite lovely. However, nothing even comes close to this shade in my collection. The shade is absolutely stunning, the formula is non-sticky and non-goopy, the color is rich, and the sparkle inside the gloss is a wonder to behold.
This gloss comes with a flat-footed applicator for precise application. This particular shade is so pigmented, though, that you will only need a swipe or two to put down amazing color.
Adorned is a hot fuchsia pink with blue and violet reflects in it. STUNNING. It leans on the cool side (mostly because of the reflects in it), so it’ll help make your teeth and smile look whiter. I think this is a really flattering shade on just about everyone, including very fair and very dark skin tones. The sparkle really reflects in the light and it has no grittiness to it at all like a lot of lip glosses with sparkle in them have.
I probably took too many swatches of this shade, but I can’t help myself. It’s just too pretty to wear and look at. If you like really bright pink lip colors, you’re going to fall head over heels for this one.
Adorned left my lips feeling buttery smooth and moisturized. It’s also just right in formula…not too thick and not too thin. It’s non-sticky and doesn’t have a scent to it. It’s one of the richest drugstore lip glosses I’ve ever used.
When I wear a shade like this, I let my lips take over the look. I’m actually wearing nothing but a bit of foundation, and a little bit of blush here. I went and got lash extensions today for the first time, and I am in LOVE with my new fluttery lashes. I’ll do a full review and post on my experience soon here on Beauty Gala. In the meantime, I’m enjoying not having to curl my lashes or apply mascara to have gorgeous lashes.
What do you think of Revlon’s “Adorned” Colorburst Lipgloss?
Revlon’s Colorburst Lipgloss is available at drugstores and mass retailers nationwide. Adorned is part of the limited edition “Fall 2013” Evening Opulence Collection. Each lip gloss retails for around $7.99 USD, making this a major beauty bargain find!

Beautiful! Believe it or not, I got this when it first came out and haven’t worn it yet!!! I still wasn’t in the mood for fall shades at the time and I’ve completely forgotten about this until I see your post! I’m definitely rocking this over the weekend. Looks like a beautiful shade for Valentine’s Day as well 🙂
