Have you ever looked at a photograph in a magazine, and wondered how they get that sheer, glowing tan skin for the models? Almost always, a body tan enhancer is used with anywhere from a light shimmer to heavy coverage color. Sephora Divine Oil is a spray body tan enhancer, with sheer, natural color and shimmer to it. Divine Oil is perfect for enhancing a tan, especially if you plan on going to an event, or want to make your skin look extra luminescent and toned. To see my full review of this product,
Sephora Divine Oil Body Tan Enhancer
Sephora Divine Oil Body Tan Enhancer is a lightly tinted skin illuminating spray. The spray has a luxurious formula that is designed to nourish the skin and create a shimmering, golden glow. It’s enticing scent is a blend of monoi, peach, coconut, ylang ylang, and vanilla musk. The formula also has vitamins and plant oils in it, is paraben-free, and delivers a dose of intensive moisture.
I found Sephora Divine Oil in the sale section of the Sephora website, and I wanted to try it because I always love using tan enhancers during the spring and summer. A little bit on my collarbone, and down the center of my legs adds a subtle, sensual glow, and makes my body look toned. The first thing that is different about this tan enhancer than typical body shimmers is that is comes in spray form, which I absolutely love. It makes it extremely easy to apply, giving you just the right amount of product per spray. Since this product is fairly pigmented and strong in shimmer, I definitely recommend applying only one spray per arm, and one to two per leg, depending on the person. The bottle is 4.2 fl oz, so the fact that one spray per arm more than does the trick is a huge turn on for me. This spray will last me forever, and gives good results for the price.
This product has a sheer, light golden color to it, making it ideal for those who already have some color to their skin. If you are extremely pale or white, this may look too artificial on you. This spray is perfect for those of light skin who already have a nice glow, medium, and dark skin tones. In fact, when I use this spray on my medium skin, it enhances my skin tone and tan flawlessly. It doesn’t look orange or artificial, but like I just stepped out of a Victoria’s Secret catalog.
As for the scent, I do not entirely agree that this product has an “enticing” scent. It certainly doesn’t smell terrible, but I do think their claim fell a bit short. When a tanning product has a tropical, summery scent, it just adds that extra punch, and makes the experience more enjoyable. The scent is not so strong that you would feel self-conscious while wearing this, but I definitely would not go into purchasing this product expecting a tropical island scent. I feel this is the only real downside to this product.
This product has fairly notable shimmer to it, so it is truly perfect for nights when you are going out, or special events. When applied down the centers of your legs, it makes legs appear sculpted and glowing. When applied to the collarbone, it adds that extra special “candlelit” healthy glow to your appearance. Applied at the beach with your swimsuit on, it will give your body a gorgeous, healthy glow. You can also apply this for a moisturizing effect, as the oil in this product is extremely soft and hydrating on your skin.
Bottom line: If you love to enhance your skin tone or tan during the summer with a hydrating, shimmering glow, Sephora Divine Oil does the job beautifully. This product costs $6 for 4.2 fl oz, and with the fantastic opacity of the light golden color, you are getting good bang for your buck.

Oooh, I like! I’m brown enough already, but I wonder if this would give me a golden glow too? Hmm. Great review! As usual, love the site!

Lachelle, I used this on my niece, who is a bit lighter than you, and it looked AMAZING on her. I really think this product looks especially nice on brown skin, because instead of adding a bronze color, it just makes it shimmer and sparkle perfectly!

I might be a little too pale to use but it looks good!
