When this product was released, my eyes lit up when I saw it! Foundation that provides translucent coverage, but protects, refreshes, and helps skin? I was so intrigued by this product that as soon as it came to my doorstep, I applied it and my love affair began. As someone who doesn’t want cakey, heavy foundation, the translucency in this foundation was a Godsend. No Foundation Foundation is a “one shade fits all” foundation, which I was originally concerned about. This foundation blended beautifully into my skin tone, looking natural and flawless. Being the makeup geek that I am, I went and applied it on my mother, my teenage niece, and my best friend, all who have very different skin tones. This foundation blended flawlessly into their skin tones, evening out redness and imperfections. Of course, they wanted my bottle of No Foundation Foundation after trying it, but I made sure it came home with me!

One of the first benefits I noticed when I applied this product was that my pores were “erased,” by it. They didn’t just look smaller, they looked nonexistent. This product is non-greasy, and made my skin feel smooth and moisturized instantly. In fact, whenever I apply this product, I feel like I am applying a luxurious moisturizer to my face, only I get the benefits of skin perfection. This product smooths fine lines, and does not settle into fine lines and wrinkles like heavier foundations tend to do. In fact, when I use this product, I have no use for a face primer, as with my other foundations. I simply apply and go.

No Foundation Foundation comes with a pump applicator which is important to me in terms of product packaging. I do not like to waste my product, especially if the product is more indulgent. This product dispenses the perfect amount of product in a single pump or two. I apply this foundation straight to my skin with clean fingers, which is something I rarely do with my other foundations. I love that I do not have to worry about streaks or uneven application with No Foundation Foundation.

No Foundation Foundation boasts SPF30 in its’ formula which is yet another advantage about this product. Not only is it perfecting uneven skin tone, pores, and fine lines, but it’s working double time while it is on your face. This product shields you from the sun and has wholesome antioxidants in it that will improve your skins texture and appearance. As someone with oily skin, this product does not break me out or leave me with an oil slick on my face after several hours go by.

Dr. Perricone somehow managed to create a foundation that gives the perfect amount of glow to your skin. As soon as I apply this, my face looks like it has an angelic halo around it. My skin looks hydrated, healthy, and even. You can use this under other products such as powder, blush, and bronzer, and it will still look flawless. When I use No Foundation Foundation, I am able to be a minimalist in my face makeup, and stick simply with blush.

Bottom line: If you are looking for a natural, translucent foundation that will perfect your skin and make it appear hydrated, glowing, and healthy, this is the foundation for you. I have not found anything on the market that compares to this product. If I could have a backup at all times of this product, I would!
