Review: Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub

mainimae

A visit to a Lush store is an experience, not just a shopping trip. Typically, you will get product demonstrations, samples, as well as get to test out the most recently released products. At a Lush store, I got to test out the new lip scrubs, which are completely edible, and made with real sugar. Lip scrubs come in three flavors: Bubblegum, milk chocolate, and mint julip. Whenever your lips are chapped, need to be exfoliated, or you simply need smoother lips, this product will leave you with baby soft, healthy feeling lips. review

As soon as I heard the words “Have you tried our new lips scrubs yet?” at the Lush store, I knew I was in for it. I absolutely love lip scrubs because my lips often get chapped and feel rough from the daily beat-up on my lips. Between being a runner, and the extremely hot summers in South Carolina, my lips very often end up with rough patches of skin, which end up looking unsightly with lip gloss or lipstick on. While I have used other lip scrubs in the past, they are often very expensive, or taste and smell unpleasant. Lush Lip Scrub’s smell absolutely delectably delicious – so delicious, in fact, that you want to eat them. And guess what? You can! Lush Lip Scrubs are completely vegan and made with edible ingredients, for easy removal, and a tasty ending.

Simply apply a small amount of sugar to your finger, and rub lightly onto your lips. You can either smack your lips together to exfoliate, or continue to use your finger to rub in a circular motion on your lips.

After you have massaged the lip scrub onto the skin on your lips, you simply lick your lips, and enjoy the tasty, all vegan formula. The bubblegum lip scrub tastes exactly like bubblegum flavored sugar, or cotton candy. It is a delicious, small treat at the end of a very effective beauty treatment!

Once you have licked your Lush Lip Scrub off, you will notice the skin on your lips is glowing, soft, smooth, and healthier looking. Lush has created a fantastic, effective product that has a unique, fun, delicious twist. Also, because the ingredients are all vegan, you can feel safe and secure knowing that you are not consuming anything harmful. Some companies claim their products are edible, yet you feel a sense of something being wrong when you do so. Lush has made sure to create an edible product with the security of as few ingredients as possible.

Bottom line: If you often have chapped, rough skin on your lips, and need a fun, delicious tasting lip exfoliator, Lush Lip Scrub is for you. This is a fantastic, effective product that has an exciting twist! This is one of those extremely fun products you will want to go around telling everyone about.
