The packaging of ArganMagic Soothing Skin Salve is perfect. It fits into your palm perfectly, which makes it perfect for toting around with you, and the 1.5oz of product is plentiful, due to the richness of the salve.
When you open the container up, you see what is essentially a solid salve that warms up from the heat of your fingers into a rich, buttery, creamy moisturizer. It has the look of petroleum jelly, but is more solid, and warms up easily to the heat of your body to melt into a rich oil. The smell of this product is absolutely perfect, with a light citrus orange blossom scent that is perfect for both men and women. In fact, one of the first things my husband said to me when he smelled this entire line of products was, “Wow! That smells really good!” Guy approved!
As you can see, I’ve dipped into this product already with my fingers, creating a small crater (what can I say, I am addicted!). When you realize how rich this salve is, you will be amazed at how just a tiny bit of product goes a long way. This product is formulated with oils, but does not feel oily or greasy on your skin, which I thought was incredible. I have used oil-based products on my chapped lips, split ends, and cuticles, and I’m often left with a greasy feeling afterward. This feels rich, but very lightweight.
What you can use ArganMagic Soothing Skin Salve for:
- Dry skin and minor skin imperfections (especially in ashy, dry areas such as elbows and hands)
- Dry, chapped lips that may be cracked or bleeding.
- Dry, peeling cuticles that create painful and unsightly hangnails
- Split ends, dry ends of hair, and fly-a-ways, especially during cold months when static is high, and warm months when frizz is abundant
- Cuts, scrapes, and scars, especially those that are bleeding (I used this on a bleeding cut from shaving, and it helped to ease the bleeding and heal the wound)

With this salve, I apply to my cuticles, and go about my day without making everything I touch greasy. I also apply a swipe of this over my cuticles every night before I go to sleep, so it can sink in all night long.

In less than two weeks, I was able to take my unsightly, dry cuticles, and turn them into healthy, moisturized cuticles. I had been trying everything including cuticle oil and creams, and nothing was working.
