You know how when you go into Target you end up with at least one thing you totally didn’t need but bought anyway? This lipstick happened to me yesterday. I saw a brand new display of L’oreal Colour Riche Lipsticks and they were all colorful and beautiful but upon seeing Sunset Angora, I knew it was love. This actually reminds me a lot of YSL Lipstick in “Rose Paris,” in that it’s that perfect vibrant pink-coral shade. This has a little bit of sheerness to it, and looks glossy on the lips, but this is guaranteed to look nice on absolutely anyone of any skin tone. To see swatches,
Sunset Angora falls right in between a pink and a coral. I would almost describe this as a mango shade, and it’s stunning. It’s not too light that it looks chalky and it’s not dark at all. It’s vibrant and luscious and would complement all skin tones from light to dark. I’ve been really into coral makeup lately but I absolutely adore shades that fall into the “pink-coral” family because they make your skin look more tan naturally and exude a glow.
The formula is very nice and smooth and has a bit of sheerness to it. It leaves a glossy, wet look to your lips which I think goes well with this shade. It’s very, very summery.
Overall: If you’re looking for a really pretty peachy-pink-coral shade of lipstick without breaking the bank, “Sunset Angora” is a beautiful choice. The formula is lightweight and glossy, but may settle into lines on your lips, so be sure to prep your lips really well beforehand!
