Pierre Hardy for NARS is a limited edition collection inspired by the designer’s 2013 high-fashion shoe collection. One of the two blushes is Rotonde, and it is absolutely stunning. I’ve had this blush sitting directly next to my vanity mirror so that I am reminded to use it every single day. It’s that gorgeous. It imparts a perfect peachy-coral glow to your cheeks, and the design overlay in the product adds a very subtle shimmer that makes you look just darling. I’ve got swatches and pictures of what it looks like on my cheeks inside!

Can we just talk about how visually beautiful this blush is? The pattern, the design, the colors…everything comes together to create an aesthetically pleasing product that you don’t want to dip your brush into! I also love, love, LOVE how huge this palette is. It takes up the entire space of my outstretched hand, so it is much larger than your typical NARS blush.
Rotonde is a peachy-coral shade that has bits of bronze in there, as well. The pattern that runs throughout is a yellow-gold shimmer. When you mix the two together with your brush, you get the most perfect peachy-coral orange shade ever. It’s also highly pigmented, so you need the tiniest amount of pressure when dipping your brush into this blush. Even with a tiny dip, my brush was coated in bright pigment from the product!
I applied it on my hand so you can see how pigmented it can be with just one swipe. Obviously on your cheeks you’re going to blend it out and make it look more subtle, but the peachy-orange shade really lends itself to a flattering color that will work on every single skin tone from very fair to very dark. This is one of those cool shades that looks slightly different on everyone, but it flatters each and every single person who wears it.
You can see how it leaves behind a really natural, glowing, shimmering peachy-coral shade on my cheeks. It’s incredibly lovely, soft, blendable, and really makes my skin just glow. I love this blush so much and I highly recommend picking it up if you love peach, coral, or orange blush shades!
The Pierre Hardy for NARS Collection is limited edition and is available at NARS counters nationwide, as well as online at NARS website. Each Pierre Hardy Blush retails for $41.00 USD and there two shades available: Rotonde and Boys Don’t Cry. Not only am I a huge fan of this blush, but I also adore how much product they give you. It will take you literally forever to use up this entire palette with how large it is!
