I received these Osmosis Colour Water Color Eyeshadows in the mail to test out, and I honestly wasn’t sure how I would feel about them. I love mineral makeup and working with pigments, but sometimes they can fall short of my expectations. These were absolutely stunning. These are made with concentrated minerals that have water molecules binding them together. When the water molecules touch the skin, they burst, leaving behind insanely pigmented, rich, smooth color that lasts and lasts. I’ve got a full makeup look and tutorial inside for you, as well as swatches.
I have Pink Champagne and Amethyst for you today. I thought these 2 shades would work well in tandem together and they’re also universally flattering on a wide range of skin tones.
Both shades are incredibly dazzling both in and out of the packaging. A little goes a very long way, so a jar of this eye color could last you a lifetime. They were intensely smooth and soft to the touch as well.
GET THE LOOK:
For this eye look, I only used the 2 colors shown. I used Amethyst in the crease of my eyes and blended it upward. One of the cool things about shimmer shadows is that they often can be blended and buffed out so that the base shade shows through. It almost looks as though I’ve used more than just 1 shade in the crease, even though I haven’t. I applied Pink Champagne in the inner corners of my eyes and on the eyelid, stopping about two-thirds of the way in. I also buffed Amethyst out along my lower lash-line.
The shades are super intense, so you only need to pick up a very small amount of product on your brush. They are also so easy to blend and work with. These have green tea extract and goji berry in them to hydrate, condition, and protect your eyelids.
To finish the look off, I added black eyeliner to my water-line and upper lash-line. I also applied a pair of false lashes for extra drama.
I was so incredibly pleased with how pigmented the Osmosis Colour Water Color Eyeshadows were and how easily they blended. They met my expectations and then some!
Since the eye makeup is shimmery and intense, I kept my face makeup demure and put on some nude lip gloss. The Osmosis Colour Water Color Eyeshadows really steal the show here.
