Talk about high-tech beauty! Salma Hayek’s beauty line, Nuance, contains this neat little lip quad. This little pod, and yes, I want to call it a pod, contains four lip colors. I decided to go with Warm since my complexion typically does better with warm shades. What I like about the Nuance brand is that everything is made with wonderful ingredients such as Vitamin E and Macadamia Seed Oil. Also, everything is paraben-free and not tested on animals, so it is perfect for those who are searching for a cruelty-free brand. To take a peek into this cool lip contraption, and see swatches,

The packaging is a super cool, modern-looking “pod” that fits into the palm of your hand. Each lip color opens out separately, and it reminds me of something from the future, or one of my science-fiction movies.

Warm contains four lip colors:

• Red Hot
• Mauve Berry
• Sheer Champagne
• Plum Shimmer

Two of the lip colors have shimmer, and two of them have no shimmer at all.

It comes with a small lip brush in the middle, as well.

Sheer Champagne is a super light, sheer peach shimmer. The reflects in this one are super pretty and really noticeable. It kind of reminds me of a sheer version of NARS “Orgasm” blush, in a lip color!

Plum Shimmer is a berry-mauve with lots of shimmer in it. This one is sparkly and very close to my natural lip-color. It kind of has a “just-bitten” appeal to it.

Mauve Berry is a mauve-brown nude shade. This one is ultra pigmented and creamy, and while this is a gorgeous shade, it just isn’t gorgeous on myself. It kind of clashes with my skin tone and makes me look strange. I think this shade would be perfect for dark skin tones!

Red Hot is a bright red lip color. This is your typical red shade, but it contains no shimmer. This one is also incredibly pigmented and a little bit goes a long way.

Every single one of these lip colors is incredibly moisturizing and creamy. I was very, very pleased with how soft, smooth, and moisturizing they were. They are creamy without being goopy or sticky.

Overall: I think this is a really pretty lip quad with extremely moisturizing lip colors. The pod makes for fun packaging but may not be the most travel friendly option for you.
