Coming Up Roses features 4 matte powder blushes. Each blush features rose petals micro-milled into the powder to bring out the natural rosy tones. Each blush also has a rose design and shape, which makes this one of the most beautiful products I’ve seen this year so far. Each blush is also huge in size, about the size of my palm. With how pigmented these blushes are, they will last you forever and ever.

 

Let’s look at each of the 4 stunning shades…

 

 

 

 

 

05 – Coral Cove is my personal favorite of the bunch, only because I’m a huge fan of coral makeup, and this one is stunning. The powder is so silky smooth and rich in color. I also think this shade will look especially gorgeous on skin that has a slight tan to it. It will glow!

 

 

 

 

 

06 – Lady Rouge is a bright strawberry shade that is almost red. I like that it’s not flat out red, but close. It manages to remain flattering with some strong pink-rose tones in it. This one is so classic and perfect with some red lips!

 

 

 

 

 

07 – Love Potion is a lavender, cool-toned pink. This is my second favorite out of the collection because the color is just so unique for a blush. It’s cool-toned and has violet undertones, so it kind of falls somewhere in between violet and pink. It’s perfect for the whole “radiant orchid” Pantone Color of the Year trend!

 

 

 

 

 

08 – Tea Rose is the ideal muted rosy-pink shade. If you’re more into natural makeup and natural looking blush, this is a great pick for you. I think this is the most universally flattering shade of the bunch.

 

 

 

 

You can see how pigmented each shade is, and how bright but different each color is as well. I love each and every single one of these. I think they are essentially the 4 main colors of blush any and every makeup maven could possibly need or want.

 

 

 

Above is me wearing “Coral Cove.” I adore this shade. It’s just so dreamy and ethereal looking on the skin. It’s perfect for spring and summer.

 

 

The application was velvety smooth and non-streaky. These are VERY pigmented, so one small swipe with your brush is all you need. I barely swiped my brush into the product and tapped off the excess and I still had enough color for both cheeks. These wear for hours upon hours without fading.

 

Overall, run, do not walk, to your local Walgreens and start scouting these blushes out! I can’t praise them enough, from the packaging to the variety of shades, to the richness in color. These are extremely affordable at $7.99 USD each. You can currently purchase these on the Milani Cosmetics website right now, but these will be limited edition at select Walgreens stores next month. This is definitely a collection I would be hitting multiple drugstores for. They are that beautiful.
