The third and final look in my LORAC Unzipped Eyeshadow Palette Series is SMOKEY. The smokey look is all about being sultry, sexy, and sophisticated. You can still amp your eyes up in a sophisticated way with a neutral palette of colors by creating a gorgeous bronzed smokey eye. This look is inspired by the always gorgeous Olivia Wilde who is often seen in bronze and chocolate smokey eyes. If you have blue or green eyes, this look is going to make your eyes look even lighter, and if your eyes are hazel or brown, this look will make them look extra sparkly. To see how to achieve this look and plenty more photographs of the finished look,
How To Achieve The SMOKEY Look:
- Apply a bronze-gold eyeshadow over your entire eyelid. I used “Undiscovered” in this palette and applied it with a wet brush to amp up the gold color in the eyeshadow. I also applied this into the inner corners of my eyes generously creating a light-reflecting effect there.
- Apply a brick-brown to the crease of your eyelid only. I applied “Unbridled” with a pencil brush for very specific application and applied it to the crease of my eye only with a windshield wiper motion. You can use that brush to blend the crease upward slightly for a smokey, blended look.
- Apply a dark chocolate brown to the outer third of your eyelid. I used “Untamed” and patted it onto the outer third of my eyelid before blending it outward and upward slightly creating a bit of a cat-eye shape with the eyeshadow. I also applied this onto the lower lash line and smoked it out with a brush.
- Apply black eyeliner to your lower and upper lash line. This step is going to help tie everything together and make your eyes really stand out. I smoked out the bottom eyeliner slightly with a brush and applied liquid eyeliner on my upper lash line to make my lashes look thicker and bolder.
- Apply mascara. Load up on the mascara! I applied three coats to my lashes for extra effect.
For my cheeks, I applied a shimmery light-pink blush (Physician’s Formula pH Blush) further back on my cheeks to give a sculpted look.
For my lips, I applied a light pink-nude lip-gloss (NYX Xtreme Lip Cream in Nude Peach Fuzz) to the lip area to keep them understated.
