The second look in my LORAC Unzipped Eyeshadow Palette Series is all about being playful, colorful, and fun. Neutral eyeshadow shades are the perfect complement to some brightness, whether it be on your lips, cheeks, or even your eyes, in the form of a bold eyeliner. I decided to add some sparkling turquoise eye liner to give the look a major pop and create some fun. This is actually my favorite way to wear really bright eyeliner and I regularly pair nude eyeshadow shades with brights along the lash line. To see photographs and a tutorial on this look,
How To Achieve The Fun Look:
- Pat a champagne gold shimmer onto your entire eyelid and inner corner of your eyes. I used “Unreal” and stopped it just above the crease. I also applied this as my brow-bone highlight.
- Use a matte brick-brown in your crease and along the lower lash line. The key is to slowly build this color up and make sure it stays in the crease only. This is going to add definition but also look beautiful as it lays parallel to your colorful eyeliner.
- Line your upper lash line with a bright turquoise eyeliner. The eyeliner I used is Stila Sparkle Eyeliner in Electric. This eyeliner is amazing because it stays put, is easy to apply, and shows up really bold on your eyes. This turquoise really complements the gold eyeshadow shade.
- Curl your lashes and apply loads of black mascara. Adding false lashes to this look would amp the effect of the eyeliner up even more!
For my cheeks, I used a matte bronzer to contour my cheekbones and a bronze blush on the apples of my cheeks.
For my lips, I used a nude lipstick to keep the look centered on my eyes.
- Bold earrings
- A colorful headband or hair accessory
- Island-inspired clothing
- Matching bright nail polish
- A flowing maxi-dress
Have fun with this look and make it your own by swapping out the turquoise liner for your favorite color or product. Stay tuned for the last look in this LORAC Unzipped Eyeshadow Palette Series!
