Zoya Nail Polish recently had a promotion where they were giving away three free nail polishes of your choice, since they hit twenty-thousand fans on Facebook. The three colors I chose were Edyta, Crystal, and Cheryl. I am beyond happy with my selections, as each shade is fantastically gorgeous in its own way. Oh, and would you believe I took the above photograph on pure ice? That’s right, we had a snow/ice storm here in South Carolina, and the ice made the perfect solid white background. Who knew? To see swatches and photographs,
Disclaimer: I am currently in the process of attempting to heal my nails and cuticles after the beating they have been taking due to the harsh weather conditions, and how often I’ve been using my hands and nails lately. Bear with me until they look sightly again!
Cheryl is a gorgeous chocolate bronze shade that has coppery-bronze flecks of micro-glitter in it. This shade literally looks like it is lit from within, at first looking like your average chocolate brown, and lighting up like a fire with the copper shimmer. Absolutely stunning, and definitely unique to my nail polish collection.
Crystal is an icy blue with chunks of silver and gold glitter in it. Stunning! It reminds me exactly of a blustery cold snow day. It was perfect for today with the winter weather we had, and it’s the perfect sophisticated blue for adults.
Edyta is the polish I saved for last, because it is my favorite. Holy perfect green nail polish batman! It is a darkened forest green with that “inner fire” look like Cheryl, only with silver and teal flecks in it. It lights up on your nails, and is simply stunning. Suffice to say I will be wearing this often…
All three polishes you see above were applied with two coats, though all three of them are opaque enough to only need one coat. They applied smoothly, dried quickly, and lasted on my nails. The formula was a dream to work with…it doesn’t get much better than this.
Aaaaaaand, for fun, my Yoda bear wanted to get in on the nail polish swatching action during his snow day!
Zoya Nail Polish retails for $7 a bottle, and can be purchased online at Zoya Nail Polish’s Website. Don’t forget to follow them on Twitter, and fan them on Facebook to be the first to hear about future promotions!
