After more than twelve drugstores and two counties, I found the remaining Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes. These palettes have 8 shadows in them total, and there is still one palette we haven’t covered here on Beauty Gala. We recently covered Blue Had Me At Hello, and Petal Pusher is another gorgeous one. Composed of pinks and purples, this palette will please those who are pastel eyeshadow lovers, or prefer a more demure wash of color on their eyelids. To see photographs and swatches,
Left Side:
- Sheer white
- Cool lavender
- Shimmering dark purple
- Shimmering cool grape purple
Right Side:
- Light purple-pink
- Shimmering plum-mauve
- Shimmering dark purple-brown
- Glittery black
Like all of Wet n Wild’s eyeshadow palettes, the shadows are velvety soft and smooth. Wet n Wild eyeshadow has fantastic pigmentation, and every color is super rich. I did notice a slight difference in quality of the eyeshadow from the left side of the palette to the right. The cool toned purples (left side) were slightly less pigmented and a little chalky. The warm shades (right side) were just right.
Overall, the colors are quite gorgeous, especially if you are a purple lover like I am. I definitely prefer the colors on the left side of the palette, and wish they were more pigmented than they were. Overall, for being under $5, this palette was a great value.

I hate that most of them are shimmery, I was hoping they would be similar to the color icons that have six shadows, three shimmers and three mattes.

I read that Wet n Wild is making a limited edition matte 8 pan palette. Coming out the end of this year I think?

They are, and I cannot wait! Unfortunately, I seem to have a hard time finding Wet n Wild Collections around here 🙁

I forgot to ask if you’ve done any looks with this or the other two 8 pan palettes?
