Just a couple of days ago, I posted on a MAC Cosmetics Pigment I fell in love with, “Copper Sparkle,” an intense glittery, shimmering copper color. I had a few requests from readers to see what the pigment actually looked like on the eyelid. I decided not to do anything fancy with the pigment for this post, but to simply apply it directly to my eyelid so you can see what it looks like. This pigment is most definitely not for the faint of heart – the intense color looks exactly like a brand new shiny penny on your lids, and it’s definitely the show-stopper in any makeup look. To see a few more photographs,
I personally feel that this pigment looks particularly gorgeous on beauties with blue eyes, as well as beauties with darker complexions. I was very impressed with how much this shade brought out the blue in my eyes (as most copper/orange eyeshadows do). The pigment is definitely a little difficult to work with, as you will experience a small amount of fallout from the micro-glitter, but as long as you apply some transparent loose powder underneath your eyes before applying this pigment, you will be fine. When you are finished applying the pigment, simply swipe away the transparent loose powder, and you will be left with no messy, glittery fallout.
