Lookbook: Sleek Makeup Pout Polish SPF15, “Scandal” Photographs & Swatches





My amazing friend and fellow beauty blogger Annabella at Skin Scrubs sent me some beauty goodies straight from the UK, where she lives, that are not available here in the United States. Not only was I elated when I received the package, but she even sent me a super cute cupcake card, and some really great products. Sleek Makeup is a UK-based beauty company getting a ton of buzz right now for their eyeshadow palettes and products because they are inexpensive but very pigmented. If you are from the US, you can find Sleek on eBay, however be forewarned…prices can be marked up there because of demand! Sleek Pout Polish is just one of the amazing Sleek products she sent me, and I have been so excited for this post. Sleek Pout Polish SPF15 in “Scandal” is a bright, bombshell red tinted lip conditioner. Annabella knows me very well when she picked out this shade for me! I am all about color and being bold, and I feel super vixen when I wear red lip products. The formula is extremely, and I do mean extremely pigmented, so a tiny bit of this product goes a long way. In fact, I can see this lip polish lasting me for a very long time. It literally feels like lip balm on your finger and lips, is super hydrating, and puts down incredible pigment.





Incredible, right? Most “tinted lip conditioners” are simply sheer, shimmery lip balms, but Sleek knows how to do it right! “Scandal” is insanely pigmented, and a tiny dip into this product will give you more than enough for your upper and lower lip.









This is most definitely a blue-based red…look at how blindingly white it makes my teeth look! I love it. It’s extremely flattering, and it makes your lips feel like butter. The only thing you may want to keep in mind is not too use too much product. If you use too much, it can bleed because it is a balm type product. I made the mistake of digging my finger in the first time, expecting it to be super sheer like cherry Chapstick. How wrong I was! And, it’s a good kind of wrong.

Wow that really is pigmented! I’m so glad you like it. I’ve seen some other things I want to send you from another brand as well.
