Revlon’s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection is a “Trends” collection which consists of colors and shades that have been seen on the runways for this season. Revlon’s Eyeshadow Quad for this collection is called “Summer Suedes” and consists of four shades: Baby pastel blue, Chocolate Brown with a baby blue duo-chrome to it, baby pastel pink, and a bright coral. This quad was created by celebrity makeup artist and Revlon Global Artistic Director, Gucci Westman, who said in the May 2010 ELLE magazine issue that she drew inspiration for this palette “from the cheery shades of Cordes-sur-Ciel, a small down in France” in which she saw these shades in the landscape, in the roofs, and in artisanal chalks and soaps. She believes coral is the color right now, and says she uses the coral shade in this palette for cheeks, lids, and even moisturized lips. To see swatches,
The chocolate brown with the slight duo-chrome to it is extremely unique, as you typically do not see duo-chrome eyeshadow sold in drugstores. It reflects baby pastel blue ever so slightly, and would look gorgeous with the pastel baby blue color used on the inner eye or as a brow highlight. These eyeshadows applied smoothly and are somewhat sheer in application. I absolutely adore the bright coral shade and intend to combine it with clear lip balm for a custom coral lip shade this spring and summer. I also adore the beautiful detail that went into the pattern of each eyeshadow color: the repeating diamond pattern makes it feel luxurious.
Keep your eyes peeled for an eyeshadow look using this quad, with tips on how to wear this palette.
Revlon “Summer Suedes” Eyeshadow Quad retails for $6.99 at your local drugstore. My local CVS had a buy one, get one 50% off all Revlon promotion running, so be sure to check your local drugstore circulars for steals and deals.

Hey Sharon, and welcome to the site! I would love to help you find it…what places have you looked for it at already, so I am not too repetitive? I have had good luck seeing at it Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid, and Kmart. At most of the places it was in their “new releases” display shelves, although at some of the drugstores, it was sold out. If I find one when I am browsing at a drugstore, I would be more than happy to pick one up for you, and ship it to you. We can always use Paypal for the exchange 🙂
