Lookbook: Milani One Coat Glitter Nail Lacquer, “Silver Dazzle,” Photographs & Swatches

I picked up Milani One Coat Glitter Nail Lacquer in Silver Dazzle on a whim at my drugstore one evening several weeks ago. I am not quite sure what drew me to this particular shade since I tend to grab for really bright, neon shades in the summer. After applying this nail polish, though, I was very pleased with the formula and the shade. It completely screams rockstar without looking like you’ve tried too hard. It’s vampy and sexy, but also sophisticated and edgy, all at the same time. To see more swatches,

Silver Dazzle is a dark silver glitter that almost looks like a gunmetal or a greyed-out-black on the nails. The actual glitter is metallic silver, and medium sized. It applies wonderfully opaque in just one coat, though I did two on these swatches just to make for a perfect manicure. The glitter in this polish is slightly gritty, but a topcoat will smooth it out for you, and allow your new glitter nails to stay put for over a week. I was very impressed with how long this polish lasted on my nails…almost two weeks with just minor tip wear!

This polish falls somewhere between black and gunmetal, and the silver sparkle makes it look surprisingly glamorous and rich. It’s safe to say that I fell in love with this polish by surprise! You can find this at local drugstores, or use the Store Locator Tool to find a location near you.

This is gorgeous! But do you ever find yourself cursing glitter polishes when you go to remove them? Argh!

Absolutely! It can be a pain…I love glitter polish so much, but sometimes I do skip it because I know the removal can be a real pain!
