Lookbook: MAC Cosmetics Bloggers’ Obsession Collection, “Sonoran Rain,” “Evolution Revolution,” Lipglass, Photographs & Swatches





MAC Cosmetics Bloggers’ Obsession Collection is a limited edition collection inspired and created by beauty bloggers. Nine beauty bloggers were invited by MAC to their labs to create either an eyeshadow or a lipglass for MAC Cosmetics. I decided to purchase two out of the five lipglasses because they looked absolutely gorgeous and caught my eye. To see photographs and swatches of Sonoran Rain and Evolution Revolution,













Sonoran Rain is a deep coral red with gold and silver pearl shimmer in it. Holy gorgeousness! This was the one lipglass I was really looking forward to because it looked so incredibly beautiful in the swatches I saw. I adore this shade because it’s so unique, and I am even going to go as far to say that this is my favorite lipglass by MAC ever.











Sonoran Rain applied beautifully, and the shimmer in this is completely incredible. It makes the color dazzle, and it reminds me of Dorothy’s ruby red slippers. I highly, highly recommend this shade from the collection. I am even already thinking about scoring a back-up to have.













Evolution Revolution is a warm-toned peachy pink with sparkle in it. Another completely stunning lipglass shade as it is semi-sheer, and adds a warm hint of pretty sparkle and color to your lips. I love this one and it looks great both by itself and over top of other lip colors.









Isn’t the sparkle gorgeous? Again, completely smooth and non-sticky, and exquisite in shade. I am very happy with my choices in lipglass from this collection and I highly recommend both. I also think it was very cool of MAC to give back to the beauty community by allowing a group of bloggers to each create a shade and product of their choice. Great concept!
