The product that motivated me to even walk into a LUSH for the very first time is still the same product I endear the most from LUSH Cosmetics…the bath bomb. At this point in my LUSH obsession, I have tried almost every single bath bomb throughout the years, from delectable and soothing to not that impressed. The Space Girl bath bomb is one of my top five favorite bath bombs now, and I thought I would share with you what it’s all about. Also, for those bath bomb virgins, you are about to get a crash course in pampering!
Space Girl Bath Bomb, by LUSH
Space Girl bath bomb is a 100% VEGAN bath bomb that is brand new to the LUSH Cosmetics family. This bath bomb was inspired by a song titled “Space Girl,” by The Imagined Village, and has a bit of a cult following. This bath bomb is shaped like Saturn, with “space dust,” which is obviously actually glitter. The scent is of blackcurrant sweeties, and it smells light, refreshing, and feminine.
The bath bomb itself smells like a mixture between fruit and candy. It’s sweet, but not overpowering, and leaves a light scent behind on your skin. As with all other LUSH bath bombs, Space Girl makes your bath water extremely soft and moisturizing for your skin.
How-To: Use a Bath Bomb
Step One: Run bath water
Step Two: Just add water!
Step Three: Lay back and relax
On contact with water, bath bombs fizz like crazy, releasing the scent and all the great-for-your-skin essential oils. Within a couple of minutes, the entire bath bomb will have dissolved into the water, and you will be left with super soft, scented, hydrating bath water. Some of the LUSH bath bombs contain color in them, changing the color of your bath water (Big Blue bath bomb). Others, leave behind bits and pieces of essential herbs, such as lavender sprigs (Golden Slumber bath bomb). There is even a bath bomb to soothe tired, aching muscles (Fizzy O’Therapy bath bomb)! No matter what your preference or mood, LUSH has a bath bomb for everyone.
Some LUSH bath bombs are larger in size than the Space Girl bath bomb. Some are larger than your fist, and a lot of LUSH fanatics prefer to use an extremely sharp knife to cut their bath bombs in half so they last longer than one use. This is a great way to make bath bombs last longer! I am especially a fan of this method because there are no LUSH stores in my state, and sadly, I must travel three hours to my nearest store.
LUSH Cosmetics Space Girl Bath Bombs retail for $4.95 each, and can be purchased at your local LUSH location. You can also browse and purchase this product online by clicking the photograph and link below:
