The China Glaze Vintage Vixen Collection is all about the classic shades of the 1940′s, perfect red lips, and nights of swing dancing all night long. Multi-faceted jewel tones make up this 1940′s glamour collection, with each shade boasting a gorgeous, sophisticated shimmer in each color. To see swatches of the six shades I purchased,

Classic Camel is a gorgeous caramel khaki with golden undertones, and a golden yellow shimmer to it. I was originally concerned that this wouldn’t look right against my skin tone, but it turned out to look like a nude caramel was poured on to my nails. This shade would look gorgeous on darker skin tones!

Bogie is a dark plum with red and silver shimmer in it. When Bogie reflects in the light, the shade really pops off of your nails, and stands out. This color is quite unique and definitely a stunning choice for Autumn.

Ingrid is a dark “greige” shade. If you are unfamiliar with “greige,” it has been all the rage on the fashion runways, and it is a combination of gray, and beige. This shade also has a bit of a chocolate brown quality to it, but the golden shimmer in this polish is what makes this one a winner. I absolutely adore this shade!

China Glaze "Midnight Mission"

Midnight Mission is a medium blue with tons of silver micro-glitter in it. This shade is perfection and I would say this is a must-have out of the collection. This shade reminds me of a night sky, and it just does not get more beautiful than this.

First Class Ticket is a rich, sultry violet purple with loads of blue and purple shimmer in it. You know I love my purple, and you know what I am going to say about this shade: my favorite out of the collection!

China Glaze "Emerald Fitzgerald"

Emerald Fitzgerald is a deep, luxurious emerald green with teal shimmer. This shade looks so luxurious, rich, and sexy on the nails that I simply cannot get enough. Stunning!

This formula on this polish was fantastic. Each color you see above only required two coats of nail polish, and none of them were too thick or runny. I was very pleased with how well this collection applied.

The China Glaze Vintage Vixen Collection consists of twelve shades total:

This nail polish retails for $5.99 in Sally Beauty Supply stores, however, this collection was just released, and can currently be found online only right now. Online, these nail polishes retail for $2.50-$2.99 a bottle, and I purchased mine through Head2Toe Beauty. They have extremely fast shipping, inexpensive prices, and fantastic customer service.

Very pretty, especially love the last three! I hope my fingernails get a little longer soon so I can try them on too :)
