In keeping with the “berry” theme this weekend, Beauty Gala wants to show you a raspberry lipstick we are loving lately. And, even more importantly, this post is to encourage you to be brave enough to pull out those berry lipsticks and rock them with confidence. Berry lips look delectable against a variety of hair colors, eye colors, and skin tones. For more details and photographs,
- Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in “Raspberry Bite,” is a gorgeous vivid berry pink shade, with just the perfect amount of sheen. It is not a matte lipstick, and has the perfect amount of moisture to it, to feel creamy and rich on your lips.
Berry lipstick looks great on both light eyes and dark eyes: It brings out the blue and green in lighter shades by contrasting them, and it makes dark eyes look intense and sultry. I have personally seen this lipstick shade on several people of different skin tones and eye/hair colors, and while it looked slightly different on each woman, it inevitably was a gorgeous bright berry shade on each of us.
With a bright berry lip such as this, I let my eyes stay natural, by applying only my favorite mascara. I let my lips be the star of the show here, commanding the eye to travel there first.
What is your favorite brand and shade of berry lipstick or lipgloss?

I personally love Bare Escentuals cosmetics. I love their 100% Natural Lipgloss in Sangria, and their 100% Natural Lipcolor in Pink Champagne. But those are just my favorites….the Raspberry Bite you posted is very pretty, too!
