Milani Cosmetics has released a limited edition collection for the month of July which include these four gorgeous lip glosses aptly named Haute Flash. I just received these products today, so I apologize for not putting these up sooner, but there is still time to go out and search your local drugstores if you’re interested. Keep in mind that even though these are limited edition for July 2011, some drugstores will keep these out and on the shelves into August, until they sell out. In my area, locally, they sometimes leave collections out for a few weeks past their release dates, so you may want to hunt these down as soon as possible. Haute Flash Shimmer Lipgloss is a collection of electrifying, pigmented lip glosses with an extra glossy, shimmery finish. I was incredibly interested in these, since I love Milani’s lip products, and they have some gorgeous shimmer lip glosses in their permanent line right now. However, these are described as “full coverage,” and “pigmented,” so of course I was extra interested in these. They do not disappoint when it comes to bright, shimmering, glossy coverage! They are rich and very decadent in color, smooth and non-sticky, and last on your lips for hours.
Hot Flash is a bright red lip gloss with beautiful ruby shimmer. This shade reminds me of Dorothy’s ruby red slippers, only liquified for your lips! Completely gorgeous, completely flattering, and the doe-foot applicator provides smooth application.
Flashy is a fuchsia hot-pink with a blue-violet shimmer. You’re going to hear me repeat this over and over again, but this shade is absolutely gorgeous. I’m a huge fan of anything sparkly, and these do not disappoint. The fuchsia hot pink color is extremely rich and bright, and gives you a really sexy, amped-up Barbie-doll look.
Star Flash is a baby-doll pink with light blue shimmer. This is the softest shade of the four glosses in this collection, but it still has a nice rich pigmentation to it, leaving your lips looking soft and feminine.
In A Flash is a violet purple with blue and fuchsia pink shimmer. Now this is the shade you want to rock out with during the upcoming fall season. Purple shades are so hot right now for your lips, and this is the perfect way to wear it without going full-on purple.
Overall, I highly recommend these lip glosses if you love shimmery lip products, or you just want to try something a little more daring. These are completely non-sticky, scent free, and put down gorgeous, rich color. They also last longer than the average lip gloss, with my wear time being around five hours.
