Summertime is all about F-U-N. The brighter and bolder, the better, and I love doing bright pops of colors on my eyes this time of year. I’ve actually owned the Wet n Wild “Fauna” Eyeshadow Palette for a couple of months now, and just never got around to using it. It came in a fun combination pack with a small blush, lip gloss, and coordinating nail polish. I decided to go with a “gradient” look, where the colors go from purple to champagne to bright blue. The effect is quite pretty and colorful, but it still has a softness to it that I love. To see how to achieve this look using the palette,
Fauna is an eyeshadow trio that comes in a limited edition set by Wet n Wild. I actually found the set while I was in Florida visiting my in-laws back in March, so this has been sitting in my makeup pile for a little bit. I know you can still purchase this set, though, because I’ve seen it at local drugstores still. The palette contains a gorgeous shimmering champagne shade, a shimmering violet, and a shimmering bright, vibrant blue. As always with Wet n Wild, this palette delivers perfect color payoff. I have said it before and I’ll say it again…you cannot beat Wet n Wild eyeshadow. It’s extremely inexpensive and it has intense pigmentation!
The Finished Look:
I think this look would be beautiful on a variety of eye colors because blue and purple both bring out different eye colors. Blue tends to look extra beautiful on brown eyes, and purple looks stunning on green, blue, and hazel eyes. The gradient effect is soft but still colorful. It’s a fun summer look on the cheap!
Wet n Wild’s “Fauna” Eyeshadow Palette is limited edition and available at drugstores nationwide for under $5. Use the Store Locator tool to find a location near you.

Amazing all the tones in these shades. The way you blended them, you almost created a duochrome effect. Cool!
