It’s almost the Fourth of July, and I like to go all out for the holiday. I love decorating for Independence Day and doing red, white, and blue themed food and drinks. I decided to put together a Fourth of July makeup look for you, which is absolutely crazy and fun. Yes, it’s bright. Yes, it’s costume-like. Yes, it’s theatrical. The important part of doing a holiday themed makeup look is to have fun and be patriotic!
PRODUCTS USED FOR THIS LOOK:
- BH Cosmetics 120 Color Palette
- NYX Eyeshadow Primer in “White”
- Ardell Demi Wispies Eyelashes
- Milani Liquid Liner
I applied NYX Eyeshadow Primer in “White” over my entire eyelid so the bright colors would look extra bold and so that the white eyeshadow on my eyelid would look extra clean. Apply a matte white to your eyelid. Slowly blend in a bright red eyeshadow along your socket, blending upward. I did mine in several layers. I wanted the crease to mimic a “cut crease” look, so I didn’t blend it out too much. I applied a bright blue along my lower lash-line. I used the Milani Ultrafine Liquid Liner in “Sparkling Turquoise” for my upper lash-line and winged it out. I applied black liner to my lower water-line for definition and added my favorite lashes, Ardell Demi Wispies.
If you want to make this look your own, you can switch up the colors and add glitter, rhinestones, or stars. The possibilities are endless!
Tomorrow I have my Fourth of July manicure coming in a post, as I do every year. I hope you all have an incredible, safe Independence Day!
