When it comes to spring allergies, I suffer from them so greatly that I often cannot even wear makeup on my eyes because they are so itchy and red. This, of course, inhibits me from doing my everyday job, and it’s also very uncomfortable because it feels like I want to scratch my eyeballs out! On top of that, I suffer from sneezing, head pressure, and sore throats during this time of year. Since I live in the southeast, my allergies are already in full swing and I was very excited to try this all-natural product, Allergease. Packed inside of a lozenge, there is a unique blend of herbal extracts that have been used to normalize histamine function. So did this product help my allergies?
The science behind Allergease is that it contains all-natural herbal ingredients that are meant to battle allergies, including Stinging Nettle Leaf, European Elder Flower, Plantain Leaf, and Eyebright. I am actually familiar with Elder Flower as I’ve used this to relieve symptoms of a cold before. These herbs work in conjunction to regulate the release and effects of histamine. These also provide you with a full daily dose of Vitamin C in just one drop.
As someone who is really into natural remedies, I found the above graphic from the Allergease website to be really informative and interesting. I previously had heard that you could fight seasonal allergies with organic honey, the thought being that if you consumed an allergen, your immune system function would kick in and you would become immune to these allergies. This product includes organic honey.
This is a USA-made product, and is gluten free. The lozenges themselves have a honey-lemon flavor to them that is quite mellow and soothing. Earlier this week, I woke up with a sore throat and I was concerned I was getting sick. Right away, I popped one of these lozenges, and my sore throat was gone by lunchtime. The lozenge itself really soothed my sore throat by lubricating it, and it almost instantly felt better.
My main other symptom of my spring allergies that I absolutely cannot stand is itchy, red, watery eyes. Last year it was so bad that I couldn’t wear eye makeup for almost a full month. This, of course, is problematic because my job is makeup. I have been using these lozenges twice a day and my eyes have not been as itchy and irritated. I would say that it took away 90% of the allergy symptoms in my eyes. I will continue to consume these lozenges because I have definitely noticed a difference in my response to the pollen this year.
The fact that I can get allergy relief in a simple lozenge is what makes this product so unique. I have tried everything, and the worst is the allergy medications that say they are non-drowsy yet still make my head feel like a balloon on a string up in the air. My schedule does not permit me to have a lot of downtime or time to feel “out of it” so this product has really been my lucky charm.
Overall: If you’re a seasonal allergy sufferer, and you want to try something all-natural, give Allergease a shot. It’s an all-natural lozenge that you take to regulate the release and effects of histamine, which your body releases in response to allergens.
Allergease is available online at the Allergease website. You can also now purchase these at CVS stores nationwide! Each box contains twenty-one lozenges, and they are available in 3-pack’s for $17.97 USD and 6-pack’s for $34.99 USD. You can use coupon code 15OFFAE online for 15% off your order. I’ll definitely be purchasing more of this product for myself this spring!
