Last week, I did a full pictorial showing you how I dyed my hair with the new Clairol Professional’s Classic Collection Hair Dye. I showed you the process in which I dyed my hair, but I couldn’t reveal the results yet. Here is my brand new hair makeover! I no longer have ashy, dull, dark blonde roots and my hair is now a shiny, healthy brown-to-blonde ombre. I’ve got my full results inside!

Last week, I showed you what my roots look like when I let them go for far too long. They are this mucky, “dishwater” blonde shade that really clashes with my skin tone and makes it look dull. Since I have a blonde ombre in my hair, it’s essential that I have nice neutral chocolate brown hair at the roots, so the blonde ombre looks great. If you want to see the process and how I dyed my hair using Clairol Professional’s Classic Collection click here.
The color was so simple to use and my color came out fantastic. I used 4N – Classic Light Neutral Brown. This shade was perfect because a lot of times dark hair dyes tend to come out darker than anticipated. This shade came out the perfect shade of medium chocolate brown on my roots without coming out warm or brassy toned. It covered up that dull dirty blonde shade and gave me much richer looking roots. It left my hair looking shiny and healthy.
Now I can keep the blonde where I want it, which is at the tips of my hair for my ombre.
I was very impressed with this hair color. I went into my local Sally Beauty Supply store this weekend and saw the display for the Clairol Professional’s Classic Collection. I couldn’t help but smile to myself, knowing how amazing the color came out. It will definitely be my go-to hair dye for now.
Since my roots are now much richer and complement my skin tone (and blonde tips!) better, I feel much more confident. Since my hair is kind of edgy and a bit of a bolder statement with the blonde ends, I have been pairing this new hair color with loose curls as you see above. Think: Victoria’s Secret bombshell hair. It’s easy, carefree, and sexy.
I’ve been wearing my pair of classic ripped jeans a lot. They can be dressed down with a casual tee or dressed up with a blazer and some heels.
Speaking of heels, since it’s officially autumn, I’ve been living in my studded booties. They have a really cute peep toe and they’re perfect for wearing with my torn-up skinny jeans! I like to wear these with everything from a sequined tank top and a cardigan to a black blazer. My new hair makes me feel like a rockstar!
Classic makes a comeback. Clairol Professional’s new ‘Classic Collection’ offers 16 timeless shades with a modern formula for brilliant shine and deep conditioning.
