The Fall 2010 nail trends have been avant-garde, to say the least. At Fashion Week, we saw many attention grabbers: chunky glitters, exquisite nail art, and high voltage metallics. The common theme throughout most fall collections, though, seems to be bold, sophisticated, rich nail hues that stand out on your nails, but still add a touch of intensity to your fingers. Meet Shari Gottesman, the founder of Perfect Formula, who has created this collection with every skin tone in mind. “The best part about these colors is that they are universally flattering to all skin tones – not something you can say about metallic blues and glittery golds,” says Shari. Left to right: Cubist, Deco, Futurist, Avant Gray, Pop Art, Post Modern
The Perfect Color Nail Lacquer Collection consists of six art-inspired shades, ranging from light to dark greige, a rainbow of plums, and a show stopping emerald.
Cubist, a divinely deep gray-brown which reveals a surprise purple tint when in the sunlight!
Deco, a perfect marriage of pink and plum, this berry shade is sure to get you noticed this fall.
Futurist, a gray-lavender, this shade is unique for both the season and a purple polish.
Avant Gray, is a true to gray shade that is a dark, sophisticated choice for the upcoming season.
Pop Art, a stunning emerald green that is sure to knock your socks off.
Post Modern, a deep plum that is one part uptown girl, and one part rockstar.
I can honestly say after looking through these promotion photographs, I am extremely excited about this collection. The shades look rich, creamy, flattering, and luxurious. The shades are perfect for the cooler weather, and are a great departure from the typical dark, vampy hues we see this time of year. They are bold, yet they each have a sophistication to them.
Perfect Formula’s “Perfect Color” Nail Lacquer Collection will retail for $15 each, and are available starting in September at The Perfect Formula Website.
