Happy Saturday! Today was quite the awful weather day, with high winds and torrential downpours, but I still managed to head out and enjoy Saturday lunch with the family, as well as do some healthy food shopping. When I went out, this is the makeup that I wore. This is what I like to call the Alluring, Everyday Makeup Look, because it’s just enough to bring out your features, make your face glow, and make you feel sexy, without being over the top. Inside, I’ve got the full rundown of products I used, but as always, feel free to use any similar products you may have in your makeup collection.

THE EYE MAKEUP: The eye makeup is a chocolate brown smokey eye. A light shimmering brown is used on the eyelid, and a medium shimmering brown is used in the outer crease of the eye. A matte black shade is used at the very edge of the eyelid, just for added definition. Be sure to blend out everything well. The more you blend, the softer the gradients will be, which is part of what makes this good for everyday. I also applied the light brown shimmer to my lower lash-line, and darkened the lower lash-line on the outer-third with the medium shimmering brown shade. I used a light champagne shimmer on the brow-bone to draw light to that area. I also used a flesh-toned eye liner on my lower water-line to open up the eye. The finishing touch was to curl my lashes and apply mascara. The end result is a shimmering chocolate brown smokey eye that brings out your eye color.
