It’s that time of the week again…time for another edition of “5 Favorite Finds.” Sometimes the week feels really long, but then when the weekend gets here, it feels like I just put together one of these yesterday. Today ended up being an absolutely gorgeous, sunny, 80-degree day here, and I enjoyed the day with some family and of course, my three dogs. It was nice to be able to open all the windows and the sliding back door to get some fresh air in the house. Peek inside for 5 things I am loving this week!
1. Sugarpill’s ChromaLust Loose Eyeshadow in “Paperdoll.” If you’re new to Sugarpill Cosmetics, you should definitely check them out. They have the most insanely rich and pigmented makeup EVER. I picked up this loose eyeshadow from Beautylish when they gave me a $10 credit for their online store. Since purple is my favorite color, I absolutely adore this lovely lavender sparkle shade. You can wear it dry for a pastel wash of color or apply it wet for a more intense pigmentation. Either way, this eyeshadow is insanely gorgeous, especially when it hits the light.
2. Swarovski Crystal Heart Bracelet. I love how “chunky” jewelry is coming back into style. I was browsing for chunky chain-link bracelets when I stumbled across IMaccessories on Etsy. I loved the way the chunky gold chain looked against the delicate, iridescent Swarovski heart. It sparkles like no other when it hits the light, and I love that this is a unique statement piece. My style when it comes to fashion jewelry is quite eclectic and edgy, and I prefer pieces that are unique. I basically want one of everything in the IMaccessories shop on Etsy because they have such gorgeous bracelets. The link to this exact bracelet is here.
3. China Glaze “It’s A Trap-eze!” Nail Polish. This polish is from the Cirque du Soleil Collection and I’ve been loving it because it’s perfect for spring. I love glitter so much, and this is basically a unique blend of confetti glitter suspended in a pale pastel blue. It’s a great choice for when you just need a little pick-me-up. This shade is going to be my “Easter manicure” this year!
4. Nature’s Wick “Bonfire Nights” Woodwick Candle. I consider myself to be a little bit of a “candle connoisseur,” simply because I own so many different types of candles. I must be behind though because this week I discovered “wood wick” candles, which actually crackle once they are lit. I’ve never owned a wood wick candle before, but I was curious because they are my way of unwinding at the end of a stressful day, and the crackle of a candle sounded appealing to me. I bought “Bonfire Nights” because even though it’s springtime, my main taste in candles is very earthy, organic, clean, and musky scents. It smells like a fall or winter night around the fire and when it’s lit, it actually sounds like a mini fireplace, right in my bedroom. I love, love, LOVE this candle. It’s only been a week and I’ve already burned half of it down already. I intend to go back to Target to buy more of this exact brand because I adore the light, relaxing crackling sound.
5. Batman two-finger ring. I’m really just a huge nerd. A lot of people think I’m this girly-girl who loves all things feminine, and while I do enjoy hair, makeup, and fashion, I grew up as a major tomboy. I love science fiction and my all-time favorite is Batman. I used to watch Batman on VHS on repeat as a child. To this day, I still collect Batman memorabilia, and I consider myself a huge Bruce Wayne fan. On top of loving the franchise, I also thought this ring was absolutely awesome. It’s unique and I love that it covers the span of two fingers. I bought mine off eBay for less than $15, and I can proudly geek out now. I kind of feel like a superhero myself when I wear it.
Whether you celebrate Passover or Easter, I hope you have a beautiful holiday filled with family and love! What are your favorite finds for the week?
